Biography
Michael Knauer, born in 1963, studied economics, politics, and history at the University of Freiburg im Breisgau and at the Institut d’études politiques in Bordeaux. He graduated with a master’s degree.
He learned his journalistic craft at the Badische Zeitung in Freiburg with a focus on economic reporting. After several years at the Agence France Presse news agency in Bonn and Berlin, and later at Reuters in Frankfurt am Main and Düsseldorf, he moved to the journal “Automobilwoche” in 2007. There, he focused on reporting on french, japanese, US- and chinese brands , suppliers, electromobility, battery technology, as well as European and national regulatory issues.
Michael Knauer supports the Arclif Group with his expertise in the field of automotive OEM and supplier projects.
